Calcium Oxide (CaO), commonly known as Quicklime, is a white to off-white, highly alkaline inorganic compound produced by the calcination of high-purity limestone. It is supplied in lump or powder form and exhibits high chemical reactivity with water, forming calcium hydroxide. The analyzed batch of Calcium Oxide complies with the specified quality requirements. The product contains 92.5% Calcium Oxide (CaO), exceeding the minimum specification of 90.0%. The levels of impurities are within acceptable limits, including Magnesium Oxide (MgO) at 1.5%, Silicon Dioxide (SiO) at 0.8%, Ferric Oxide (FeO) at 0.2%, and Aluminum Oxide (AlO) at 0.3%. The Calcium Hydroxide (Ca(OH)) content is 1.2%, indicating minimal hydration during storage.
